What We Offer
We offer
private instruction for new boaters and to those of you who have
upgraded from a PWC to a bowrider or from a bowrider to a cabin
cruiser.
A USCG
licensed Captain will show you the basics of operating your boat,
safety, rules of the road and knots.
Instruction can be customized to meet your needs. Please
contact us for
specific requests.

training is conducted on your boat. |
Type of Training
Instruction is available for boats 17’ to 27’ in length with one
engine.
Basic training classes include:

Boat safety
·
Rules of the Road
·
Boat handling skills such as handling lines, docking & anchoring
·
VHF use
·
Knots – five that every boater should know
In addition to the classes above, trailerable boats will learn the
following:

Ramp etiquette
·
Launching & retrieving

Women Only
Come train with a woman Captain in a relaxed atmosphere where you’ll
gain the confidence to handle the boat if the need arises.
Wouldn’t it be fun to take your girlfriends out for a ladies day on
the water?! They will be quite impressed at the skills that you’ve
learned.
If you boat with your significant other often, you should know how
to handle the boat in case of an emergency. It could mean life or
death.
